Coldplay
Coldplay is een Britse rockband die in 1996 in Londen werd opgericht. De bezetting is sinds de oprichting onveranderd gebleven en bestaat uit zanger, ritmegitarist en toetsenist Chris Martin , leadgitarist Jonny Buckland , bassist Guy Berryman en drummer Will Champion . Hun creatief directeur, Phil Harvey , wordt ook beschouwd als onderdeel van de groep. Coldplay staat bekend om hun evolutie van alternatieve rock en post-Britpop naar poprock en popmuziek en heeft iconische albums uitgebracht zoals "A Rush of Blood to the Head" en "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends" .
