Dry your eyes, oh lost child

No one heard you cry

Hold still, time might ease

Night can trick you when darkness brings

It drinks you to the marrow, a load that doesn’t allow

Ik denk dat ik moet leren

De lessen die het leven kan brengen

Zie je lot onder ogen

Zelfs als het oneerlijk is

Je kunt niemand de schuld geven

En leugens verspreid over leugens

En het lijkt niemand iets te kunnen schelen

Zo ziet het er tenminste uit...
