Speak that Word whilst the sea falls

And moths swirl and clouds call

Spring is coming-so they said

Spring is moving

In the WhirlPools

And the Moon is as full

As the sea is as deep

And in the clouds

The shadows creep

Sweeping down like foxes

Who have heard in the dust

News travels hard from heart to dark

Rumours of war hum softly

And on their paws black rolls the chariot

Over the plains and waves

In other faces the eyes twitch and switch

Back and forth King fall Queen fall

Silence shouts

En motten dwarrelen en wolken roepen

De lente komt eraan, zeiden ze:

De lente is in beweging

In de WhirlPools

En de maan is net zo vol

Omdat de zee zo diep is

En in de wolken

De schaduwen kruipen

Nieuws reist van hart naar duister

Geruchten over oorlog zoemen zachtjes

En op hun poten rolt zwart de strijdwagen

Over de vlaktes en golven

In andere gezichten trillen en schakelen de ogen

Heen en weer Koning val Koningin val

Stilte schreeuwt

Sluit slot sluit deur dicht Licht uit

Bomen vallen - de smaak van je gezicht

Onze eerste kus zei-

Onder welke ster scheen dat?

Je zong "welke lucht is dat?"

Je zong en wees naar het noorden en het zuiden

Je keek oost en west

Dus ineens was jij niets meer

Je haar zo mooi dat ik het me nog goed herinner

En toen liet het licht je vrij

Ik droomde dat ik op een heuvel woonde

In die droom waar de echte
