I used to live in Northeast D.C., not too far from Capitol Hill

White House here, trap house there, they were so near you could go by feet

I was on tour when the migrants came, saw their camps on side of the road

I met a boy who arrived in the rain, he lost his folks when they torched his

home

That made me want to bring my fam before they see that side of a drone

«But who wants us?

Nog een dollar en de wet komt naar buiten en ze willen allemaal weten waarom ik rijk ben

Wat betekent dat?

Er kwam afleiding, ik denk dat mijn tv in wol is gekleed

Ik was op tournee toen de migranten kwamen, zagen hun kampen aan de kant van de weg

Ik ontmoette een jongen die in de regen aankwam, hij verloor zijn ouders toen ze de zijne in brand staken

Dat zorgde ervoor dat ik mijn familie mee wilde nemen voordat ze die kant van een drone zien

Is dat niet waar je het meest bang voor bent?

Maar angst overtroeft je behoeften niet

Onze voordelen zijn echter groter dan onze nadelen.

En dat is wat dit land geweldig maakt, het is gebouwd door degenen die bloeden

Dus als je ons gewoon probeert neer te halen, doe je alleen pijn aan je knieën
