It turns out

Everything is bullshit!

Egregious

Self-satisfied!

But I’ve been trying

Not to think like that, no!

I gotta be positive!

There’s a lot of good things

About life, woah-woah!

It’s been a hell of a ride so far

And there’s still more to go (Woah-woah)!

I’ve been trying for a while

Can’t even bring myself to smile

It’s like dyin' for a cause

That I do not believe in

I try to understand the Light

I try to fall asleep at night

I’m givin' her all she’s got

And I don’t wanna fail!

But I need some Darkness!

After all these years

I’d been hoping for glimpse

Of the other side

I spent a lot of time

On the good stuff

I ask myself why?!

But I gotta have Darkness!

Just like I always knew it would!

Hope you said goodbye to Light

It was never going to last!

Now the sky is black

And everything’s falling down

Life is like a lost and found-

And the world is black!

How can I feel this way?

I thought the Light was

But now the Darkness-

Ik moet positief zijn!

Er zijn veel goede dingen

Het was een geweldige rit tot nu toe

Ik probeer het al een tijdje

Kan mezelf er niet eens toe brengen om te glimlachen

Het is alsof je sterft voor een doel

Waar ik niet in geloof

Ik probeer het Licht te begrijpen

Ik probeer 's nachts in slaap te vallen

Ik geef haar alles wat ze heeft

En ik wil niet falen!

Maar ik heb wat duisternis nodig!

Na al deze jaren

Ik hoopte op een glimp

Van de andere kant

Ik heb veel tijd doorgebracht

Over de goede dingen

Gewoon om te leren (Woah-woah!)

Nou, misschien is dat niet mijn rit!

En dan begint het allemaal opnieuw

Ik vraag me af waarom?!

Nooit in slaap gevallen 's nachts

Ik heb gedaan wat ik kon

Met wat ik had!

Maar ik moet de duisternis hebben!

Nu is het zover!

De dag is op de vlucht!

De nacht is nu voorgoed gevallen

Net zoals ik altijd al wist dat het zou gebeuren!

Ik hoop dat je afscheid hebt genomen van Light

Omdat het verleden tijd is!

Het zou nooit lang duren!

Nu is de lucht zwart

En alles valt naar beneden

Het leven is als een verloren en gevonden

Soms heb je geluk

En de wereld is zwart!

Wauw!

Hoe kan ik me zo voelen?

Ik dacht dat het Licht was

Hier om te blijven (Hier om te blijven)!

Maar nu de duisternis-

Hier voor goed-

Ik wist dat het zou

Maar ik dacht

Ik heb misschien Licht...
