In the Bosom of the Father - Living Stream Ministry

In the bosom of the Father,

Ere the ages had begun,

Thou wast in the Father’s glory,

God’s unique begotten Son.

When to us the Father gave Thee,

Thou in person wast the same,

All the fulness of the Father

In the Spirit to proclaim.

By Thy death and resurrection,

Thou wast made God’s firstborn Son;

By Thy life to us imparting,

Was Thy duplication done.

We, in Thee regenerated,

Many sons to God became;

Truly as Thy many brethren,

We are as Thyself the same.

Once Thou wast the only grain, Lord,

Falling to the earth to die,

That thru death and resurrection

Thou in life may multiply.

We were brought forth in Thy nature

And the many grains became;

As one loaf we all are blended,

All Thy fulness to proclaim.

We’re Thy total reproduction,

Thy dear Body and Thy Bride,

Thine expression and Thy fulness,

For Thee ever to abide.

We are Thy continuation,

Thy life-increase and Thy spread,

Thy full growth and Thy rich surplus,

One with Thee, our glorious Head.

Lord Thy human shell was broken.

Life and glory Thou released

That thine own incorporation

With thy chosen be increased.

We with Thee incorporated

Thou in us and we in Thee

Here we eat the hidden manna

New Jerusalem to be.

In de schoot van de Vader,

Voordat de eeuwen waren begonnen,

Gij was in de heerlijkheid van de Vader,

Gods unieke verwekte Zoon.

Wanneer aan ons de Vader gaf U,

Gij in persoon wast hetzelfde,

Alle volheid van de Vader

In de Geest om te verkondigen.

Door uw dood en opstanding,

Gij zijt Gods eerstgeboren Zoon geworden;

Door Uw leven aan ons te schenken,

Was uw duplicatie gedaan.

Wij, in U herboren,

Vele zonen voor God werden;

Voorwaar, zoals uw vele broeders,

We zijn als Uzelf hetzelfde.

Ooit was U het enige graan, Heer,

Op de aarde vallen om te sterven,

Dat door dood en opstanding

U kunt zich in het leven vermenigvuldigen.

We zijn voortgebracht in uw natuur

En de vele granen werden;

Als één brood zijn we allemaal gemengd,

Al Uw volheid verkondigen.

We zijn Uw totale reproductie,

Uw dierbare lichaam en uw bruid,

Uw uitdrukking en uw volheid,

Voor U om altijd te blijven.

Wij zijn Uw voortzetting,

Uw levenstoename en uw verspreiding,

Uw volle groei en uw rijke overschot,

Eén met U, ons glorieuze Hoofd.

Heer Uw menselijke schaal was gebroken.

Leven en glorie die U hebt losgelaten

Dat uw eigen inlijving

Met uw gekozen worden verhoogd.

Wij met U opgenomen

Gij in ons en wij in U

Hier eten we het verborgen manna

Nieuw Jeruzalem in wording.
