The fire is out, warmth gone thereof

Gold wine is drunk, dregs remain

Verbrijzeld wakker, niets dan adem

Wat ben je nu, nieuwe maagdelijke sneeuw?

In de crypte zie ik een schaduw in de lucht die nu koud wordt

Met mijn warmte verenigt de kou zich nu

Creëert een mist zo dik dat ik geen zicht heb

Wat kan zo echt doordringen tot verdriet?

Stilte rond, blad valt op blad

Door de bomen kruipt nu het verlangen

Neem jezelf waar, zie nu God

Alles is stof - wat wil je nog meer?

Diep in de duisternis in zijn gezicht vond ik mijn plek
