Noi lottiamo, resistiamo,

avvinghiati disperatamente l’uno all’altra, attaccati come mignotte

— Scusa, io dovrei andare un attimo…

— Vengo anch’io!

Qui, fermi, seduti sulle nostre due comode poltrone

- Ik, ik bedoel, jij en ik.

Wij tweeën gesloten, beschermd in onze toevluchtsoord,

in ons hol

- Hoe zit het met die buiten?

- Niets, wij geven niet om die buiten.

Wij, alleen wij, de schoonsten,

de meest verenigde, de beste

- Nee, maar kijk, het is ons ook overkomen...

- Stilte!

Wat tussen ons blijft, hou je mond!

We vechten, we verzetten ons,

zich wanhopig aan elkaar vastklampend, gehecht als hoeren
