De signaallichten trillen in de wind

En sneeuw waait van de weg als zand,

De chauffeur tuurt en spant zijn kin,

Hij moet de overhand houden,

Saginaw tegen middernacht, dat is het plan

En dan waait de sneeuw nog harder

Op overdekte wegen en gladde heuvels,

Deze reis zal zijn wil zeker op de proef stellen...

Ze verkoopt geen drugs of nieuws,

Daar beneden waar de afrit Grand . ontmoet

En wanneer het donker de dag afsnijdt,

Ze zal die doos slepen en weglopen,

Ooit zullen de pauzes je niet naar beneden halen;

Dus nu is Hadzici teruggestuurd

En dinsdagavond zal Ilidza,

Er zijn hier zoveel huizen afgebrand,

Hun oude stadhuis staat smeulend stil,

Moslim gejuich en autoclaxons splitsen de kou

En hoewel hij vanavond ver van huis is,

En hoewel het niet zijn strijd is om te vechten,

De reden voor vrede moet betekenen dat het goed is...
