I’ve known this wicked waltzer all too long

It’s the cycle I’m stuck on

And I’m tryin' to be better, but I fall at every hurdle

Please stop tryin' to find comfort in these sociopaths

Their beauty is exclusively on the surface

As they pull you side to side with all their drugs and who’s who stories

And fill that empty space from bein' a child

Or somethin' like that

Straddle these rustd wheels and pedal through the gridlock

On this dry summer venin', turn my phone off

I’m not receivin' anything or anyone

Just the sound of the empty caverns in my skull

Self-loathin' will be cold if I rise above this lull

Ik ken deze slechte wals maar al te lang

Het is de cyclus waar ik aan vast zit

En ik probeer beter te zijn, maar ik val bij elke hindernis

Stop alsjeblieft met proberen troost te vinden bij deze sociopaten

Hun schoonheid ligt uitsluitend aan de oppervlakte

Terwijl ze je heen en weer trekken met al hun drugs en wie is wie-verhalen

En vul die lege ruimte van kinds af aan

Of iets dergelijks

Schrijlings op deze verroeste wielen en trap door de patstelling

Zet op deze droge zomeravond mijn telefoon uit

Ik ontvang niets of niemand

Alleen het geluid van de lege grotten in mijn schedel

Zelfhaat zal koud zijn als ik boven deze stilte uitstijg
