Lotus - Above, Below

Inside us all rests a lotus, yet to bloom

Attempting to flourish on it’s own, misconstrued

And there also sits, a wilting leaf, content with falling from the seed

Both flora wish to see the end, whats of the bloom?

Whats of the death?

But neither one fulfills their fate, without the fluid of Edens lake

Initiating the bloom and the fall

Integrating the bloom and the fall

And we are just the same

Unable to go, unable to go alone

Together we integrate the bloom and the fall, the bloom and the fall

As the lotus cries, we cry together

As the lotus thrives, we thrive together

We are the sum of one another

Together we bloom as one

For the truth is, in the end

We are all that was, all that is

And all that will ever be, and all that will ever be

In ons allemaal rust een lotus, die nog moet bloeien

Poging om op zichzelf te bloeien, verkeerd begrepen

En daar zit ook, een verwelkend blad, tevreden met vallen uit het zaad

Beide flora willen het einde zien, hoe zit het met de bloei?

Hoe zit het met de dood?

Maar geen van beiden vervult hun lot, zonder de vloeistof van Edens Lake

Het initiëren van de bloei en de herfst

En we zijn gewoon hetzelfde

Kan niet gaan, kan niet alleen gaan
