a leaping long-haired gnome called out

and then when jaden got a little older

we moved to santa barbara

where the weather was warmer

roam memories of places i’ve loved

vanaf een snelwegonderdoorgang

in de missie

riep een springende langharige kabouter

nou, de waarheid is dat ik nooit ben gaan wonen

ging dwars door de stad naar west marin

en toen Jaden wat ouder werd

we zijn verhuisd naar santa barbara

waar het warmer was

want heel Californië is een gemoedstoestand
