I was in the sto' chillin' not feelin' no pressure

Paying bills at the courtesy booth inside for yester

And there she was, whoa, I hope my eyes don’t undress her

The line was so thick I had time to assess her

We had something in common off the top, I think brokeness

‘cause both of us was holding a overdue pink notice

To get this girl’s attention at this moment seems hopeless

Then I zeroed in on her with sharp and supreme focus like zoom

Process and yeah that’s a winner

And as I got closer, that’s when I saw something in her

Couldn’t look directly at her so I tried to see through her

And now it’s eating at me, I just had to speak to her

Should I smile, should I wave, should I ask her for the time?

Should I say what’s on my mind or just come up with a line?

She’s a few people behind me so I’m tryna keep my grip

And these old folks’ll kick my ass if I let her skip so

I’m contemplating when to make my move

Rekeningen betalen bij het welkomsthokje binnen voor gisteren

En daar was ze, whoa, ik hoop dat mijn ogen haar niet uitkleden

De lijn was zo dik dat ik tijd had om haar te beoordelen

We hadden iets gemeenschappelijks, ik denk dat het gebroken is

want we hadden allebei een achterstallige roze aanmaning

Op dit moment de aandacht van dit meisje trekken lijkt hopeloos

Daarna zoomde ik op haar in met een scherpe en ultieme focus zoals zoom

Proces en ja dat is een winnaar

En toen ik dichterbij kwam, zag ik iets in haar

Ik kon haar niet rechtstreeks aankijken, dus probeerde ik door haar heen te kijken

En nu vreet het aan me, ik moest gewoon met haar praten

Moet ik glimlachen, moet ik zwaaien, moet ik haar om de tijd vragen?

Moet ik zeggen wat er in me opkomt of gewoon een regel bedenken?

Ze is een paar mensen achter me, dus ik probeer mijn grip te houden

En deze oude mensen zullen me een schop onder mijn kont geven als ik haar zo laat springen

Dus ik bouwde mijn zenuwen op, in mijn gedachten begon ik te vragen

Wat heb ik te verliezen, wat is het ergste dat kan gebeuren?

Als ze cappin', kan ik proberen het uit te spelen en te lachen

Of ga gewoon door met mijn zaken als ze klikt en begint te snappen

Maar het doorgeven van dit moment kan zwaar op mijn geweten drukken

Ik tel tot drie en dan loop ik op haar af, man, dat beloof ik!

Een kleine taille plus een perfect gezicht, ik sta versteld

Moest haar vertellen wat er in mijn hoofd zat, ik moest eerlijk zijn

Hoe dichter ik bij haar kwam, hoe zenuwachtiger ik werd

Helemaal natuurlijk zoals ik het leuk vind en ze is zo mooi als een roos

Tot drie geteld, stapte recht op haar af, hier gaat het

Ik zei: "Neem me niet kwalijk, schoonheid, je hebt een booger in je neus"
