though.

Pious priests, with their «narrow ways,"wouldn't

care at all to argue with you or I because they know they

are right.

And of course, the angels they pretend to know so much about, in reality, favour «us».

But, these

priests cannot see the inner man.

But the song begins with the sound, «ey"or «hey». Comical.

What do you think?

they’ve no reason to argue

at all

they don’t realise

that the angels surround you with light

they don’t understand

their narrow ways defeat them where they stand

they don’t realise

you hide the sadness beneath a painted smile.

Ignorance,

that line of fools steers a wayward path

and set the course upon which we sing into the night of uncertainty.

Following the stars

that make their way across the sky

valuing the love

that land brings to our eyes

het helemaal niet uitmaakt om met jou of mij in discussie te gaan, omdat ze weten dat ze

hebt gelijk.

En natuurlijk, de engelen waarvan ze doen alsof ze zoveel weten, begunstigen ons in werkelijkheid.

Maar deze

priesters kunnen de innerlijke mens niet zien.

Maar het nummer begint met het geluid, «ey» of «hey». Komisch.

Wat denk je?

ze hebben geen reden om ruzie te maken

bij alles

ze beseffen niet

dat de engelen je omringen met licht

ze begrijpen het niet

hun smalle wegen verslaan ze waar ze staan

ze beseffen niet

je verbergt het verdriet onder een geschilderde glimlach.

Onwetendheid,

die rij dwazen stuurt een eigenzinnig pad

en zet de koers waarop we zingen in de nacht van onzekerheid.

De sterren volgen

die zich een weg banen door de lucht

de liefde waarderen

dat land brengt in onze ogen
