I welcome the sun

The clouds and rain

The wind that sweeps the sky clean and lets the sun shine again

This is the most magnificent life has ever been

Here is heaven and earth and the brilliant sky inbetween

Blessed is this life and i’m going to celebrate being alive (x4).

I dwell in the darkness

I let in the light

I sleep in the afternoon and become the noise in the night

I trespass in temptation suffer in sacrifice

But I awake each day with the new sunrise.

Ik verwelkom de zon

De wolken en de regen

De wind die de lucht schoonveegt en de zon weer laat schijnen

Dit is het mooiste leven dat ooit is geweest

Hier is hemel en aarde en de schitterende lucht ertussen

Gezegend is dit leven en ik ga het leven vieren (4x).

Ik woon in de duisternis

Ik laat het licht binnen

Ik slaap 's middags en word 's nachts het lawaai

Ik overtreed in verleiding lijd in opoffering

Maar ik word elke dag wakker met de nieuwe zonsopgang.

Gezegend is dit leven oh, en ik ga vieren dat ik leef (x4)
