Omnipresent political correctness — objectivity dead

Simplified news-reports persuade the dimnest of heads

So when freedom is at stake — our docility makes sure that we don’t care

Just as long as we get what we crave!

Truth beyond sensation — subscribe tot the pretense?

The will to entertain exceeds what really counts…

Swayed public opinion and directed sympathies

Ignorance flourishing due to critical inadequacy

TV the instrument that keeps us in check

Our attentions diverted by the government

We’re slaves to the fucking trends!

Curiously poised by the menace of criminals and bin Ladens

This paranoia is shifting society

Becoming a nation of hyper-patriotic vigilantes

What cuts me up — I swallow the hollow lies they feed me

Enclosed by invisible fiends, media nurtures the fears inside me

Bored?

At least it keeps me glued to the tube in anticipation of the next

Ferocious crime — comfortably pacified within the walls of my home

Tap into the horrors of the outside world

Information suited for mass digestion

Everyone viewing the same channels

Leave out what demands personal reflection

We zijn zo paranoïde: we zijn het slachtoffer geworden van onze eigen angst

Rationaliteit is ondergeschikt, wanneer het wordt overgegeven aan de 'kwaad' daarbuiten

TV beeldt de samenleving af als een oorlogsgebied - klaar om ons te verzwelgen!

We consumeren tragedies van anderen om ons beter te voelen over onszelf

Alomtegenwoordige politieke correctheid — objectiviteit dood

Dus als vrijheid op het spel staat, zorgt onze volgzaamheid ervoor dat het ons niets kan schelen

Zolang we maar krijgen waar we naar snakken!

De wil om te entertainen overtreft wat echt telt...

Onwetendheid bloeit als gevolg van kritieke tekortkomingen

Wat me snijdt - ik slik de holle leugens in die ze me voeden

Omsloten door onzichtbare duivels voeden media de angsten in mij

Verveeld?

Het houdt me in ieder geval aan de buis gekluisterd in afwachting van de volgende

Woeste misdaad — comfortabel gepacificeerd binnen de muren van mijn huis

Maak kennis met de gruwelen van de buitenwereld

Informatie geschikt voor massavertering

Iedereen kijkt naar dezelfde kanalen
