Outside Jerusalem

We drove in our chariots of fire

Going up going up to Tir Na Nog

You came into my life

And you filled me and you filled me

Where the roads were quiet and still

And we walked all the way to Tir Na Nog

How can we not be attached

After all we’re only human

The only way then is to never come back

Except I that wouldn’t want that would you

We’ve been together before in a different incarnation

And we loved each other then as well

And we sat down in contemplation

Many many many times you kissed mine eyes

We stonden in het koninkrijk

En bij de poort van het landhuis

We stonden verrukt van de stilte

Terwijl de vogels hun hemelse lied zongen

We stopten in de kerk van Ierland

En bad tot onze vader

En klom de berghelling op

Met vuur in ons hart

En we liepen helemaal naar Tir Na Nog

Ik zei met mijn ogen dat

Ik herkende je kin

Het was mijn lang verloren vriend

Om me te helpen uit een ander leven

We namen elkaars handen en huilden

Als een rivier toen we hallo zeiden

En we liepen naar Tir Na Nog

We hebben een grote connectie gemaakt

Op een gouden herfstdag

We stonden in de tuin, nat van de regen

En onze zielen waren weer jong in Tir Na Nog

En buiten woedde de storm

Buiten Jeruzalem

We reden in onze strijdwagens van vuur

De grote zon in het westen volgen

Naar boven gaan naar Tir Na Nog

Je kwam in mijn leven

En je vulde mij en je vulde mij

Hoe kunnen we niet gehecht zijn?
