Have mercy, O Lord, upon the people called by thy name

Upon Israel, whom thou hast likened to a first born son

Have pity on the city of thy sanctuary, Jerusalem, the place or thy rest

Fill Zion with the celebration of thy wondrous deeds

And thy temple with thy glory

Bear witness to those whom thou didst create in the beginning

And fulfill the prophecies spoken in thy name

Reward those who wait for thee

And let thy prophets be found trustworthy

Hearken, O Lord, to the prayers or thy servants

According to the blessing of Aaron for thy people

And all who are on the earth will know

That thou art the Lord, the God of the ages

Heb medelijden, o Heer, met het volk dat bij uw naam wordt genoemd

Op Israël, dat u hebt vergeleken met een eerstgeboren zoon,

Heb medelijden met de stad van uw heiligdom, Jeruzalem, de plaats of uw rust

Vul Sion met de viering van uw wonderbaarlijke daden

En uw tempel met uw heerlijkheid

Getuig van degenen die u in het begin hebt geschapen

En vervul de profetieën die in uw naam zijn uitgesproken

Beloon degenen die op je wachten

En laat uw profeten betrouwbaar worden bevonden

Luister, o Heer, naar de gebeden of uw dienaren

Volgens de zegen van Aaron voor uw volk

En iedereen die op aarde is, zal het weten

Dat U de Heer bent, de God van alle tijden
