We will just do nothing at all

We would just sit there in the noonday sun

And when they speak to him, he will not answer them, because he does not wish to

And when they tell him to eat his dinner

He will just laugh at them

And he will not take his nap, because he does not care to

He will go away and will play with the panda

And when they come with a friend

He would stick them with spears

And throw them in the garbage and put the cover on

And he will not get out in the fresh air

Nor eat his vegetable, and will grow thin as a marble

He would just do nothing at all

We doen gewoon helemaal niets

We zouden daar gewoon in de middagzon zitten

En als ze met hem praten, zal hij ze niet antwoorden, omdat hij dat niet wil

En als ze hem vertellen dat hij zijn avondeten moet opeten?

Hij zal er gewoon om lachen

En hij doet zijn dutje niet, omdat het hem niet kan schelen

Hij zal daar gewoon in de middagzon zitten

Hij zal weggaan en met de panda spelen

En als ze met een vriend komen

Hij zou ze met speren steken

En gooi ze in de vuilnisbak en doe de hoes erop

En hij komt niet in de frisse lucht

Noch zijn groente eten, en zal zo dun worden als een marmer

Hij zou gewoon helemaal niets doen

Hij zal daar gewoon in de middagzon zitten
