Come to the table and savor the sight

The wine and the bread that was broken

And all have been welcomed to come if they might

Accept as their own these two tokens

The bread is His body, the wine is the blood

And the One who provides them is true

He freely offers, we freely receive

To accept and believe Him is all we must do Come to the table and taste of the Glory

And savor the sorrow, He’s dying tomorrow

The hand that is breaking the bread

Soon will be broken

And here at the table sit those who have loved you

One is a traitor and one will deny

And He’s lived His life for them all

And for all be crucified

Come to the table He’s prepared for you

The bread of forgiveness, the wine of release

Come to the table and sit down beside Him

The Savior wants you to join in the feast

Come to the table and see in His eyes

The love that the Father has spoken

And know you are welcome, whatever your crime

For every commandment you’ve broken

For He’s come to love you and not to condemn

And He offers a pardon of peace

If you’ll come to the table, you’ll feel in your heart

The greatest forgiveness, the greatest release

Come to the table He’s prepared for you

Kom aan tafel en geniet van het uitzicht

De wijn en het brood dat gebroken was

En iedereen is welkom om te komen als ze mogen

Accepteer deze twee tokens als hun eigendom

Het brood is Zijn lichaam, de wijn is het bloed

En Degene die ze geeft, is waar

Hij biedt gratis aan, wij ontvangen gratis

Hem accepteren en geloven is alles wat we moeten doen Kom aan tafel en proef de heerlijkheid

En geniet van het verdriet, Hij gaat morgen dood

De hand die het brood breekt

Zal binnenkort kapot gaan

En hier aan tafel zitten degenen die van je hebben gehouden

De ene is een verrader en de andere zal ontkennen

En Hij heeft Zijn leven voor hen allemaal geleefd

En voor iedereen gekruisigd worden

Kom naar de tafel die Hij voor je heeft klaargemaakt

Het brood van vergeving, de wijn van verlossing

Kom naar de tafel en ga naast Hem zitten

De Heiland wil dat je aan het feest deelneemt

Kom naar de tafel en kijk in Zijn ogen

De liefde die de Vader heeft gesproken

En weet dat je welkom bent, wat je misdaad ook is

Voor elk gebod dat je hebt overtreden

Want Hij is gekomen om van je te houden en niet om te veroordelen

En Hij biedt gratie van vrede aan

Als je aan tafel komt, voel je in je hart

De grootste vergeving, de grootste bevrijding

Kom naar de tafel die Hij voor je heeft klaargemaakt

Het brood van vergeving, de wijn van verlossing

Kom naar de tafel en ga naast Hem zitten
