The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.

Your mercies never come to an end;

they are new every morning,

new every morning:

great is your faithfulness, O Lord,

great is your faithfulness!

therefore I will hope in you.

to the soul that seeks you;

it is good that we should wait quietly

for the salvation of the Lord.

but will have compassion;

for God does not willingly

afflict or grieve the righteous ones.

and return to the Lord;

let us lift up our hearts and

hands to God in heaven.

De standvastige liefde van de Heer houdt nooit op.

Aan uw barmhartigheden komt nooit een einde;

ze zijn elke ochtend nieuw,

elke ochtend nieuw:

groot is uw trouw, o Heer,

groot is uw trouw!

daarom zal ik op je hopen.

aan de ziel die jou zoekt;

het is goed dat we rustig moeten wachten

voor de redding van de Heer.

maar zal mededogen hebben;

want God wil niet gewillig

de rechtvaardigen kwellen of bedroeven.

en keer terug naar de Heer;

laten we ons hart opheffen en

handen naar God in de hemel.
