Speech falls silent

The more words that are spilt, the more hopeless it becomes

The more desperate the need, the stronger the apathy takes hold

And it spirals out of control

Descending into some riotous state

Oblivious to all

And only horror most severe

Could bring the senses to reason

Regret, and despair so great

Make this body of lead

Cognition burns my eyes

The angst pulses, through my veins

Can this malignant realisation be set to forge paths anew?

Or is it just another wound to burn on

Until all hope is rotting in vain?

Contain.

Castigate.

Abscond.

Descend

That old faithful

The whispered promise

Beguiled in doubt

Transparent intent, bereft of substance

And it always comes to this

So let us raise a final glass

To resentment, hostility

To breakdown

To end

Spraak valt stil

Hoe meer woorden er worden gemorst, hoe hopelozer het wordt

Hoe wanhopiger de behoefte, hoe sterker de apathie vat krijgt

En het loopt uit de hand

Afdalen in een losbandige staat

Zich niet bewust van alles

En alleen de meest ernstige horror

Kan de zintuigen tot rede brengen

Spijt en wanhoop zo geweldig

Maak dit hoofdbestanddeel

Cognitie brandt in mijn ogen

De angst pulseert door mijn aderen

Kan dit kwaadaardige besef worden ingesteld om opnieuw paden te banen?

Of is het gewoon een andere wond om op te branden?

Tot alle hoop tevergeefs vergaat?

Bevatten.

Castigate.

onderduiken.

Afdalen

Die oude gelovige

De gefluisterde belofte

Verleid tot twijfel

Transparante bedoeling, zonder inhoud

En het komt altijd hierop neer

Dus laten we een laatste glas heffen

Tot wrok, vijandigheid

Afbreken

Beëindigen
