by the time i made it home

the garden had turned to weeds

and everyone who lived there was becoming unhappy

i want to move all the snails

and flip over every bug thats stuck on its back

but i’m fucking powerless and thats okay

its okay to ask for help sometimes

its okay to laugh at yourself all the time

because even if you’re the feeder of every bird in the neighborhood

you’re still a symbiotic wreck like the rest of us left here

tegen de tijd dat ik thuiskwam

de tuin was veranderd in onkruid

en iedereen die daar woonde werd ongelukkig

ik wil alle slakken verplaatsen

en draai elke bug om die op zijn rug is geplakt

maar ik ben verdomme machteloos en dat is oké

het is prima om af en toe om hulp te vragen

het is oké om de hele tijd om jezelf te lachen

want zelfs als je de voeder bent van elke vogel in de buurt

je bent nog steeds een symbiotisch wrak zoals de rest van ons hier achterliet
