I often think of Michael Collins sitting in Columbia

Always hoping for the best, but in his heart, he fears the worst

Knowing there’s a chance that he’ll return alone to Earth

Ik vraag me af of iemand op aarde ooit eenzamer is geweest

Sterren tellen, een kwart miljoen mijl van huis

Dingen op aarde

Alledaags lijken

Maar ze zien er prachtig uit

Vanuit de ruimte

Altijd hopend op het beste, maar in zijn hart vreest hij het ergste

Wetende dat er een kans is dat hij alleen terugkeert naar de aarde
