Setting of the Two Suns - Septicflesh

In a world of endless light, into the boundless space

two suns the only gods, two burning holes in the sky.

Without a warning the two suns slowly faded

abandoning their only children unprotected from the cold.

Down on their knees.

They have total consience,

as Night drains their spirit, the inner light of logic

leaving the bodies to walk this blind planet.

Stumbling to others that now are animals, crying light…

SETTING OF THE TWO SUNS…

Then a light came from the horizon

devouring the land.

It wasn’t sun.

It took a minute for a flame to become a fire.

The great cities will all become ashes,

drifting with the wind.

In een wereld van eindeloos licht, de grenzeloze ruimte in

twee zonnen de enige goden, twee brandende gaten in de lucht.

Zonder waarschuwing vervaagden de twee zonnen langzaam

hun enige kinderen onbeschermd tegen de kou achterlaten.

Op hun knieën.

Ze hebben het volste geweten,

terwijl de nacht hun geest leegzuigt, het innerlijke licht van de logica

de lichamen achterlatend om deze blinde planeet te bewandelen.

Struikelend naar anderen die nu dieren zijn, huilend licht...

ONDERSTEL VAN DE TWEE ZONEN…

Toen kwam er een licht van de horizon

het land verslinden.

Het was geen zon.

Het duurde een minuut voordat een vlam vuur werd.

De grote steden zullen allemaal tot as worden,

meedrijven met de wind.
