Self revealing?

Bringing this otherness, opening the door

To some other place that I’ve not known before

Blurred 'round the edges, stripped to the core

The fantasy just can’t sustain it no more

Was it always this late?

Where did time take a shortcut?

Where are the tracks of the hours inbetween?

When life was waiting for us?

Stuck in this otherness that’s opened the door

Thrown out of synch like some old acidhead

Awoken from dreams to find nightmares instead

The night is all around me

And dawn has never seemed so far away

Wazig 'rond de randen, gestript tot de kern'

De fantasie houdt het gewoon niet meer in stand

Was het altijd zo laat?

Waar kwam de tijd vandaan?

Waar zijn de sporen van de tussenliggende uren?

Toen het leven op ons wachtte?

Vastzitten in dit anders-zijn dat de deur heeft geopend

Naar een andere plaats die ik niet eerder ken

Niet synchroon gegooid als een oude acidhead

Ontwaakt uit dromen om in plaats daarvan nachtmerries te vinden

De nacht is overal om me heen

En de dageraad leek nog nooit zo ver weg
