Ah, thank you Jesus

You know, I want to take just a moment and speak to you

I don’t know who you are

Or where you are

What’s going on in your life

I do know that sometimes circumstances

And situations come against us

We ask, «Where is God?»

And, «Is there anybody who can help us?»

I want you to know that God is not very far from you

Whoever you are, wherever you’ve been

Whatever you’ve done

He’s right there

As close as the breath you just drew

As close as the fingers on the end of your hand

God is right there

He’s everywhere

But you know, He only comes where He’s invited

And when you need His help

All you’ve got to do is open your mouth and call out to Him

Just tell him yes

It’s that easy, it’s that simple

All of the work for Him to come into your life has already been done

All you’ve got to do is just tell Him «Yes»

Ah, dank je Jezus

Weet je, ik wil even de tijd nemen om met je te praten

Ik weet niet wie je bent

Of waar je bent

Wat gebeurt er in je leven?

Ik weet wel dat soms omstandigheden

En situaties komen ons tegen

We vragen: "Waar is God?"

En: "Is er iemand die ons kan helpen?"

Ik wil dat je weet dat God niet ver van je vandaan is

Wie je ook bent, waar je ook bent geweest

Wat je ook hebt gedaan

Hij is daar

Zo dichtbij als de ademhaling die je zojuist hebt geademd

Zo dichtbij als de vingers aan het uiteinde van je hand

God is daar

Hij is overal

Maar weet je, Hij komt alleen waar Hij is uitgenodigd

En als je Zijn hulp nodig hebt

Het enige wat je hoeft te doen is je mond open te doen en naar Hem te roepen

Zeg hem gewoon ja

Zo makkelijk is het, zo simpel is het

Al het werk voor Hem om in je leven te komen, is al gedaan

Het enige wat je hoeft te doen is hem gewoon "Ja" te zeggen
