Light - Mindshift

This is all in my head, drowning me, this unsafe feeling that im not enough.

I say to myself -Live or die trying!

but what is the value of that in this harsh reality.

and all the times that I’ve tried, the beginning of another adversity starts.

I’m tired, so tired, please help me, i’m ready to let go now

As I stand alone I’ll take another breath to find where I belong

I will find the light In this darkness that I call my home

With tears in my eyes I stare at the ground, a hollow feeling that all is gone.

Your weakened hand slowly letting go, colors turning gray, fading away.

the Days are filling the hole inside of me, slowly patching me up.

Dit zit allemaal in mijn hoofd, verdrinkt me, dit onveilige gevoel dat ik niet genoeg ben.

Ik zeg tegen mezelf: leef of sterf terwijl je probeert!

maar wat is de waarde daarvan in deze harde realiteit.

en alle keren dat ik het heb geprobeerd, begint het begin van een nieuwe tegenslag.

Ik ben moe, zo moe, help me alsjeblieft, ik ben klaar om nu los te laten

Terwijl ik alleen sta, haal ik nog een keer adem om te vinden waar ik thuishoor

Ik zal het licht vinden in deze duisternis die ik mijn thuis noem

Met tranen in mijn ogen staar ik naar de grond, een hol gevoel dat alles weg is.

Je verzwakte hand laat langzaam los, kleuren worden grijs, vervagen.

de dagen vullen het gat in mij en lappen me langzaam op.

Terwijl ik alleen sta, haal ik nog een keer adem om te vinden waar ik thuishoor
