Is it Santa Clause?

Yes, it’s Santa Clause!

Up on the house top, reindeers pause,

Out jumps good old Santa Clause

Down through the chimney with lots of toys

All for the little ones, Christmas joys

First comes the stocking of little Nell

Oh, dear Santa, fill it well,

Give her a dolly that laughs and cries

One that will open and shut it’s eyes (that's creepy)

Up on the housetop, click, click, click,

Down through the chimney with good Saint nick

Next comes the stocking of little Will

Oh, just see what a glorious fill

Here is a hammer and lots of tacks

Also a ball and a nut that cracks

Is het de kerstman?

Ja, het is Sinterklaas!

Op het dak van het huis pauzeren de rendieren,

Uit springt goede oude kerstman

Door de schoorsteen met veel speelgoed

Alles voor de kleintjes, kerstgenot

Eerst komt de kous van kleine Nell

Oh, lieve kerstman, vul het goed,

Geef haar een dolly die lacht en huilt

Een die zijn ogen zal openen en sluiten (dat is eng)

Vervolgens komt de kous van kleine Will
