It’s like the world’s been dead for a long, long time

But we’ve been left down here and we’re all still alive

And when the Earth stopped breathing no one noticed

Just carried on sipping smoothies

They pointed rockets to the sky

Can someone come and get us

But the rides all finished and the bus never came

We looked around and there were no gods to blame

Ze richtten raketten naar de lucht

Is daar iemand

Kan iemand ons komen halen

En toen de aarde die laatste keer hoestte

We merkten het niet, we waren niet op zoek naar een bord

Maar de ritten waren allemaal afgelopen en de bus kwam nooit

We keken rond en er waren geen goden om de schuld te geven
