Beautiful day, wonderful feeling,

This reason to sing, psalms meaning songs singing praises all day long.

Joy fills the weak, joy makes us strong.

Filled 'till we burst, songs of praise to the God of the Universe.

Despite our selfish selves, despite all loss of hope,

Despite our lack of faith, despite our stony hearts,

Despite the waning moon,

Despite the ebbing tide of how we think this world should be.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow,

Praise Him all creatures here below,

Praise Him above ye heavenly host,

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Gray rainy day, down in the mud for us.

Don’t feel I can sing, songs to the God in control of the seasons.

But what’s good and bad, flow from the hands,

Of the God with the perfect plan.

Filling us with joy, all of this will glorify.

Mooie dag, heerlijk gevoel,

Deze reden om te zingen, psalmen betekent liedjes die de hele dag lof zingen.

Vreugde vult de zwakken, vreugde maakt ons sterk.

Gevuld tot we barsten, lofliederen voor de God van het Universum.

Ondanks ons egoïstische zelf, ondanks alle verlies van hoop,

Ondanks ons gebrek aan geloof, ondanks ons stenen hart,

Ondanks de afnemende maan,

Ondanks het eb en vloed van hoe we denken dat deze wereld zou moeten zijn.

Prijs God van wie alle zegeningen vloeien,

Prijs Hem alle schepselen hier beneden,

Prijs Hem boven uw hemelse gastheer,

Prijs Vader, Zoon en Heilige Geest.

Grijze regenachtige dag, voor ons in de modder.

Heb niet het gevoel dat ik liedjes kan zingen voor de God die de seizoenen onder controle heeft.

Maar wat goed en slecht is, vloeit voort uit de handen,

Van de God met het perfecte plan.

Dit alles zal ons verheerlijken met vreugde.
