I’ve thought about it for a while

The many questions for the asking

She asked if God was just a slob (like us)

Ik heb er even over nagedacht

De vele vragen voor het stellen

Ze vroeg of God gewoon een slons was (zoals wij)

Misschien ontbreekt er iets

Mijn God is niet in de lucht

Hij is hier bij jou en ik

Vraag me gewoon of ik dood ga

Laat me je al mijn gedachten vertellen (over God)

Omdat ik hem zojuist heb ontmoet

Hij geeft me rust zodat ik kan dragen (een glimlach)

Terwijl anderen verdrinken in melancholische bitterheid

Verdriet al deze waanzin
