I walk through a world ridden with confliction

What is there in common to a billion people?

Are we slaves to a power that is so sublime?

Or is it hidden in this clump of dirt?

Once they even tired to chain down time

There must be a reason for the wealth of miracles

That run through the days of mankind

Moeten we naar een toekomst kijken in de kilte van de ruimte?

Zijn we slaven van een macht die zo subliem is?

Of is het verborgen in deze klomp vuil?

Maar als je luistert, echoot er iets door de eeuwen heen

Eens waren ze zelfs moe om tijd uit te schakelen

Er moet een reden zijn voor de rijkdom aan wonderen

Dat liep door de dagen van de mensheid

Ik weet dat je deze vragen misschien nooit zult horen
