Lock up the Night - Mortification

Lock up the night, release the fire,

now show The Light, pray for morning,

Take out the dark, Spirit shine,

glowing eyes, show the heart of life.

Take the day now for the Lord,

choosen the way how to decide,

run away to the skies,

unseen power to receive.

Feel the pain now it appears,

darkness hates how Jesus heals,

fly away to Life,

mighty Grace to be free.

See the plan for it is real,

satan plots death to steal.

Arrive now to Light,

shining joy to reveal.

Sluit de nacht af, laat het vuur los,

toon nu het licht, bid voor de ochtend,

Haal het donker eruit, Geest glans,

gloeiende ogen, tonen het hart van het leven.

Neem nu de dag voor de Heer,

de manier gekozen om te beslissen,

ren weg naar de lucht,

onzichtbare kracht om te ontvangen.

Voel de pijn nu het verschijnt,

duisternis haat hoe Jezus geneest,

vlieg weg naar het leven,

machtige genade om vrij te zijn.

Zie het plan want het is echt

satan beraamt de dood om te stelen.

Kom nu naar Light,

stralende vreugde om te onthullen.
