Not yet sonic

But I’d like to reach the point

Where I can say

Yes I am

But it always seems to be

About sensibilities

And not who’s listening

No I’m not quite sonic

What’s real in the art school

What’s real in the white room

This yet to tell my conscience

Who to trust my thoughts with

Or who to love

You’re oh so sonic

So and so fantastically boring

You’re a fashion whore

Being real is one thing

Being nothing is something

But at this point

There’s something wrong

Chemically expensive hair

Money that we wear

Will get us what?

It kinda makes you think

Only animals

Are friends… surreal friends

Truly sonic

The sights

They’re embryonic

See waht you want

I’m not quite sonic

The sounds

They’re quadraphonic

Semi-moronic

Not quite sonic

Nog niet sonic

Maar ik wil graag tot het punt komen

Waar ik kan zeggen

Ja dat ben ik

Maar het lijkt altijd zo te zijn

Over gevoeligheden

En niet wie er luistert

Nee, ik ben niet helemaal sonisch

Wat is echt in de kunstacademie

Wat is er echt in de witte kamer

Dit moet ik nog aan mijn geweten vertellen

Met wie ik mijn gedachten kan toevertrouwen?

Of van wie je moet houden?

Je bent oh zo sonisch

Zo en zo fantastisch saai

Je bent een modehoer

Echt zijn is één ding

Niets zijn is iets

Maar op dit moment

Er is iets mis

Chemisch duur haar

Geld dat we dragen

Zal ons wat opleveren?

Het zet je een beetje aan het denken

alleen dieren

Zijn vrienden... surrealistische vrienden

Het zicht
