Dan gaat de deur zonder handvat weer achter haar dicht

Ze plaatst het licht op een stoel bij het raam

Zegt een gebed terwijl de wind waait

En dan verbergt ze zich in haar beddengoed

Nu is ze veilig voor de duisternis

Ze is veilig voor zijn koppeling

Nu kan niets haar meer schaden, althans niet erg veel

Dan pakt ze het pakketje uit

En ontdekt binnen een kasteel

De ophaalbrug is open

En een stem uit het water

Zegt: "Welkom mijn dochter"

Ze klimt de trap op met het licht van een kaars

Dan gaat de deur zonder handvat weer achter haar dicht
