It seems naturally enough to say that

we live in the physical world.

Here’s all of us.

We’re walking around in this physical world here, right?

But to say that, is a conventional point of view.

That is a convention of our existence

to think in those terms,

to presume in those terms.

We say things like, «There is this external world,

and I am me,

you are you.»

This universe we say things like this.

All we need to do is (all we need to do is)

to really consider, to really observe

our condition,

fundamentally.

Het lijkt natuurlijk genoeg om dat te zeggen

we leven in de fysieke wereld.

Dit zijn wij allemaal.

We lopen hier rond in deze fysieke wereld, toch?

Maar om dat te zeggen, is een conventioneel standpunt.

Dat is een conventie van ons bestaan

om in die termen te denken,

om in die termen te veronderstellen.

We zeggen dingen als: «Er is een externe wereld,

en ik ben ik,

jij bent jij."

Dit universum zeggen we dit soort dingen.

Het enige wat we hoeven te doen is (het enige wat we hoeven te doen is)

echt overwegen, echt observeren

onze toestand,

fundamenteel.
