Deliberately put your head in a mindless state

Say without the crutch you can’t relate

Intoxicated you do stupid things

Things you don’t mean things you wished could be changed

Drink it down say it’s for the best

Bottle in the hand just like all the rest

Still you do it when you know it’s wrong

But it’s what’s accepted so you feel strong

Tell me, is it really worth it

Fuck it, to turn your brain to shit

My advice, why don`t you stop and think

Please man, it’s ok not to drink

If drinking’s what it take to be accepted

I’d rather stay aware and be rejected

I know what it takes to keep my head on straight

Putting shit in my mind and body is not the way

I don’t need the drugs, I don’t need a crutch

My mind is all I’ll ever need to stay in touch

You can laugh but you’ll get yours

Reason an excuse for your pressure

Mijn advies, waarom denk je niet even na?

Alsjeblieft man, het is oké om niet te drinken

Als drinken is wat er nodig is om geaccepteerd te worden

Ik blijf liever op de hoogte en word afgewezen

Ik weet wat er nodig is om mijn hoofd rechtop te houden

Het is niet de manier om stront in mijn hoofd en lichaam te stoppen

Ik heb de medicijnen niet nodig, ik heb geen kruk nodig

Mijn geest is alles wat ik ooit nodig heb om contact te houden

Je kunt lachen, maar je krijgt de jouwe

Reden een excuus voor uw druk

Eindelijk begrijp je

Van drinken word je geen man

Ik niet, ik weet wat slim is

In contact, ik ben altijd alert

Wachten voel je je beter, word je erdoor?

Voel je goed als je drinkt

Nu lach je en vandaag ben je blij maar

Het is niet zo grappig als je denkt

Je kunt het nu doen en er nog steeds van genieten

De mensen die om je geven zijn er allemaal nog

Maar op een dag dat je lacht, zul je

Draai je om en er staat niemand meer

Verder kijken voor wat het waard is

Kijken naar gezichten waar ik pijn zie

Naarmate het graan binnenkomt, begin je te veranderen

Excuses zoeken en pijn ontdekken

Het wordt tijd dat je je ogen opent en de realiteit doorlaat

Vecht tegen de bittere wind die je heeft gebeten

Een heldere geest is alles wat je ooit nodig zult hebben

Want niemand is zo blind als degenen die niet zien
