The Myth - Star Queen

Zeus gave order to gods —

Mortal woman to be made from clay…

Pandora was her name

And they had to give her a spell

Instead of a human soul…

And the beauty must be sly

To enchant and to entice…

To punish people, Zeus sent her

For the fire they had stolen from Olymp

High price they had to pay

For the boldness of Prometheus

And all the oceans in the universe

Won’t be enough to put out the holy

Fiery Prometheus' sacrifice

Hate your chimerical hopes!

Let be holy your souls!

She went to his brother

But he’d forgotten Prometheus' advice —

Don’t take presents from gods

So Epimetheus could not endure

Pandoras' mystical allure

She brought an urn with evils

Unknown for mortals until then

And all disasters spread out when

Pandoras' curiosity prevailed

And all the sorrows

Conquered the human world

But scared she closed the urn

And the nastiest evil couldn’t creep

So explain me how the hope

As the most dangerous of evils

Corrodes the human souls ?!

Sterfelijke vrouw wordt gemaakt van klei...

En ze moesten haar een spreuk geven

In plaats van een menselijke ziel...

En de schoonheid moet sluw zijn

Betoveren en verleiden...

Om mensen te straffen, stuurde Zeus haar

Voor het vuur dat ze van Olymp hadden gestolen

Hoge prijs die ze moesten betalen

Voor de vrijmoedigheid van Prometheus

En alle oceanen in het universum

Zal niet genoeg zijn om de heilige uit te doven

Het offer van vurige Prometheus

Haat je chimerische hoop!

Laat uw ziel heilig zijn!

Ze ging naar zijn broer

Maar hij was het advies van Prometheus vergeten...

Neem geen cadeaus aan van goden

Dus Epimetheus kon het niet volhouden

De mystieke allure van Pandora

Ze bracht een urn met kwaad mee

Onbekend voor stervelingen tot dan toe

En alle rampen verspreiden zich wanneer

De nieuwsgierigheid van Pandora had de overhand

En al het verdriet

De mensenwereld veroverd

Maar bang deed ze de urn dicht

En het gemeenste kwaad kon niet kruipen

Dus leg me uit hoe de hoop

Als het gevaarlijkste kwaad

Corrodeert de menselijke ziel?!
