Hope - Sky

My hope is in Thee.

O God, give me a new life at every instant

and bestow upon me the breaths of the Holy Spirit at every moment,

in order that I may remain steadfast in Thy love;

attain unto great felicity, perceive the manifest light

and be in the state of utmost tranquillity and submissiveness.

Verily, Thou art the Giver, the Forgiver, the Compassionate.

O Thou beloved of my heart and soul!

I have no refuge save Thee.

I raise no voice at dawn except in thy commemoration and praise.

Thy love encompasseth me and Thy Grace is perfect.

Mijn hoop is in U.

O God, geef me op elk moment een nieuw leven

en schenk mij op elk moment de adem van de Heilige Geest,

opdat ik standvastig kan blijven in Uw liefde;

bereik grote gelukzaligheid, neem het manifeste licht waar

en wees in de staat van uiterste rust en onderdanigheid.

Voorwaar, Gij zijt de Gever, de Vergever, de Barmhartige.

O Gij geliefde van mijn hart en ziel!

Ik heb geen toevlucht behalve U.

Ik verhef geen stem bij het ochtendgloren, behalve in uw herdenking en lofprijzing.

Uw liefde omvat mij en Uw genade is volmaakt.
