All is bright in my white world:

clean suit nd blue eyes.

In a house of glass hings are visible

with a bottle in my hand,

nd a bottle on my head.

I’m lacking words, I don’t know anything,

but sometimes in vain I make up everything:

the missing word of eternal truth.

the missing sign — a salvation code.

I type

But nothing happens.

Whatever I think — it is so unacceptable.

Whatever I say — seems not understandable.

Is this house of glass my homeland?

Is this house of glass your colony?

Don’t go out there.

It is warm inside.

It is midnight in Europe.

It is cold and dark.

Alles is helder in mijn witte wereld:

schoon pak en blauwe ogen.

In een glazen huis zijn scharnieren zichtbaar

met een fles in mijn hand,

en een fles op mijn hoofd.

Ik kom woorden te kort, ik weet niets,

maar soms verzin ik alles:

het ontbrekende woord van de eeuwige waarheid.

het ontbrekende teken — een reddingscode.

Maar er gebeurt niets.

Wat ik ook denk, het is zo onaanvaardbaar.

Wat ik ook zeg, het lijkt niet te begrijpen.

Is dit glazen huis mijn thuisland?

Is dit glazen huis jouw kolonie?

Het is warm binnen.

Het is middernacht in Europa.
