De skyline van New York is een prachtig gezicht

Ik weet dat Chicago's loop 's nachts magisch is

De inwoners van Cleveland uit Frisco en Boston

En inwoners van steden waarin een vreemdeling verdwaalt

Ze beweren allemaal dat hun stad de beste is

Van diep in het zuiden en van buiten in het westen
