You know there’s it’s not like there’s something special about coming up front

It’s not like there’s more of God here than … back there but there’s

something powerful about taking a step and act whether it’s moving to the front

or it’s raising your hands or it’s opening your mouth and speaking out the

words

There’s something really powerful about the actual act of putting into action

your desire, your hunger, your need, your cry for Jesus

To say, «Yes, I am hungry.

Yes, I need you, Jesus.

Yes, I want more of You,

Jesus.»

And some times those feelings of complacency, those feelings that say,

that that voice that says, «Oh, you’re fine.

You don’t got to do this.

You don’t got to do that.

You have Jesus.

You know Jesus.

You love Jesus.»

Some many times that’s the voice that’s keeping you on the other of break

through

But you break through lies on the other side of your faith, your step,

your act of faith

To step into something

So can we for just a moment

Can you, can you take that step?

Whatever it looks like for you

Whether it’s speaking something out, or singing out, or lifting your hands,

moving out of your seat, whatever it is

That we can just for a moment just lift our voices and our hunger and stir up

that hunger inside of us for Jesus

For more of Jesus

To say that there truly is nothing like Your presence

Thank you, Jesus, that your presence does not sit boxed in the building that we

call «a church»

But that Your presence is a light inside of us

And the whole point of what You did on the cross, Jesus, was that Your presence

would be carried out to the ends of the earth

Jesus, that you would cover this earth with Your presence

And that every man, woman and child every knee would bow to Your name, Jesus

And that we would worship You, Father, with all we are and all that we have

Because You are so good, and so worthy, and so deserving, Jesus

That there truly is nothing like Your presence, Jesus

Can your stir that up, that faith inside of you

Kun je de honger in je naar meer opwekken?

Als je geen honger hebt naar meer van Jezus, vraag het hem dan gewoon

Vraag hem

Zeg: "Jezus, kom de honger in mij opwekken naar meer van U,

voor meer van uw aanwezigheid.»

Je weet dat het niet zo is dat er iets speciaals is aan vooraan komen

Het is niet alsof er hier meer van God is dan... daarginds, maar er is...

iets krachtigs aan het nemen van een stap en handelen, of het nu naar voren beweegt

of het is je handen opsteken of je mond openen en je mond uitspreken

woorden

Er is iets heel krachtigs aan het daadwerkelijk uitvoeren van actie

je verlangen, je honger, je nood, je roep om Jezus

Om te zeggen: "Ja, ik heb honger.

Ja, ik heb je nodig, Jezus.

Ja, ik wil meer van jou,

Jezus."

En soms die gevoelens van zelfgenoegzaamheid, die gevoelens die zeggen:

die stem die zegt: "Oh, je bent in orde.

U hoeft dit niet te doen.

Dat hoef je niet te doen.

Je hebt Jezus.

Je kent Jezus.

Je houdt van Jezus.»

Soms is dat de stem die je aan de andere kant van de pauze houdt

door

Maar je doorbreekt leugens aan de andere kant van je geloof, je stap,

uw daad van geloof

Om ergens in te stappen

Kunnen we eventjes

Kunt u, kunt u die stap zetten?

Hoe het er voor jou ook uitziet

Of het nu gaat om iets uitspreken, zingen of je handen opsteken,

uit je stoel komen, wat het ook is

Dat we even onze stem en onze honger kunnen verheffen en wakker maken

die honger in ons naar Jezus

Voor meer van Jezus

Om te zeggen dat er echt niets is zoals Uw aanwezigheid

Dank u, Jezus, dat uw aanwezigheid niet opgesloten zit in het gebouw dat we

noem 'een kerk'

Maar dat Uw aanwezigheid een licht in ons is

En het hele punt van wat U aan het kruis deed, Jezus, was dat Uw aanwezigheid...

zou worden uitgevoerd tot aan de uiteinden van de aarde

Jezus, dat u deze aarde zou bedekken met uw aanwezigheid

En dat elke man, vrouw en kind elke knie zou buigen voor Uw naam, Jezus

En dat we U zouden aanbidden, Vader, met alles wat we zijn en alles wat we hebben

Omdat U zo goed bent, en zo waardig en zo verdient, Jezus

Dat er echt niets is zoals Uw aanwezigheid, Jezus

Er is niets, er is niemand zoals U, Jezus

Kom op

Kun je dat aanwakkeren, dat geloof in je?

Als u niet weet waar u moet beginnen

Begin met dankbaarheid

Begin met dankbaarheid

Een dankbaar hart bereidt de weg voor

Onthoud waar Hij je vandaan heeft gered

Denk aan de put waaruit Hij je heeft getrokken

Denk aan die ketenen die Hij uit je leven brak

Weet je nog toen Hij je bevrijdde

Laat die dankbaarheid en die dankbaarheid vanavond in je opkomen

Zoals je je eerste liefde herinnert

Als je je Jezus herinnert en wat Hij heeft gedaan?

En terwijl je indrukt en zegt:
