Behind my house there is a great wall

Thoughts of freedom piled up

When I look behind all ground will disappear

Endlessly lost where light turns off its glow

Left is high, what’s right will be low

Still I want to see how we’ve met at all

Paint it black and white, write a poem on the stone

To brake it all down before you come around

Power to the soul and no one’ll ever know

Tussen de planten heb ik een beetje beschutting

Dit is waar ik speel, net links van wat je ziet

Achter mijn huis staat een grote muur

Gedachten aan vrijheid stapelen zich op

Als ik achterom kijk, zal alle grond verdwijnen

Eindeloos verdwaald waar het licht zijn gloed uitdooft

Links is hoog, wat rechts is, is laag

Toch wil ik zien hoe we elkaar hebben ontmoet

Schilder het zwart-wit, schrijf een gedicht op de steen

Om alles af te remmen voordat je langskomt

Kracht voor de ziel en niemand zal het ooit weten

Waar we ons 's nachts verstoppen
