I live in Hollywood, but it’s not like in the movies, where Christmas is always

snowy white.

On my list, is just one wish,

that it would snow tonight.

Slippin and a' sliding and a’sleigh ridin' all over the neighborhood

You’ll be rockin' with a stockin' on your head so the cold won’t get to you

On Christmas Eve you can believe that wishes do come true

You close your eyes and to your surprise you see the reindeer fly

the palm trees dressed in white!

sneeuwwit.

Op mijn lijst staat slechts één wens,

dat het vannacht zou sneeuwen.

Als de sneeuw valt in Tinseltown

Je gaat dansen in Hollywood

Slippin en glijden en een slee rijden door de hele buurt

Je zult rocken met een kous op je hoofd zodat de kou je niet kan bereiken

Op kerstavond kun je geloven dat wensen uitkomen

Ohhh, als de sneeuw naar beneden komt

Je sluit je ogen en tot je verbazing zie je de rendieren vliegen

Je zang en een luiden samen met kerkklokken in de lucht

Het lijkt zo echt dat je het kunt voelen

de sneeuwvlokken in je haar

's Ochtends als je wakker wordt

Je gezicht schijnt helemaal helder

En als je naar buiten kijkt, zie je

de palmbomen in het wit gekleed!
