Heavy - Eleven

Zooming in from a distant night

Through clouds of storm and slowed down light

The mistress of shadows in a meadow on a rock

Is picking a lock as the mossy trees talk

Awakened in a pond the turtle comes forth

With promise of action as secrets unfold

Sleepers are walking with blindfold and book

A push through the fabric is all that it took

In a whirwind of truth the center was clear

On the back of a turtle I waded through fear

Heavy is the dream as I burn in the sun

Heavy is the dream as I fall just for fun

Zooming out from an endless flight

Through oceans of doubt and left here or right

The master of illusions in a field on a stone

Is setting a trap in a bull’s hip bone

Always on it’s toes the turtle sees all

With mouthfuls of brilliance she gives me the ball

As serpents are writing it down in my book

A push through the fabric is all that it took

Inzoomen vanaf een verre nacht

Door wolken van storm en vertraagd licht

De minnares van schaduwen in een weide op een rots

Is een slot kiezen terwijl de bemoste bomen praten?

Ontwaakt in een vijver komt de schildpad tevoorschijn

Met belofte van actie terwijl geheimen zich ontvouwen

Slapers lopen met blinddoek en boek

Een duw door de stof is alles wat nodig is

In een wervelwind van waarheid was het centrum duidelijk

Op de rug van een schildpad waadde ik door angst

Zwaar is de droom terwijl ik in de zon brand

Zwaar is de droom, want ik val gewoon voor de lol

Uitzoomen vanaf een eindeloze vlucht

Door oceanen van twijfel en hier links of rechts

De meester van illusies in een veld op een steen

Zet een val in het heupbot van een stier?

Altijd scherp, de schildpad ziet alles

Met mondvol schittering geeft ze me de bal

Terwijl slangen het opschrijven in mijn boek

Een duw door de stof is alles wat nodig is
