Over in the Meadow - Barney

Over in the meadow, in the sand, in the sun,

Lived an old mother frog and her little froggy one.

"Croak," said the mother,

"I croak," said the one so they croaked

And they croaked in the sand, in the sun.

Over in the meadow, in the stream so blue,

Lived an old mother fish and her little fishes two.

"Swim," said the mother,

"We swim," said the two,

So they swam and they swam in the stream so blue.

Over in the meadow, on the branch of a tree,

Lived an old mother bird and her little birdies three.

"Sing," said the mother,

"We sing," said the three, so they sang,

And they sang on the branch of the tree.

In de wei, in het zand, in de zon,

Leefde een oude moederkikker en haar kleine kikkertje.

"Croak," zei de moeder,

"Ik kwaak," zei degene zodat ze kwaakten

En ze kwaakten in het zand, in de zon.

Daar in de wei, in de stroom zo blauw,

Leefde een oude moedervis en haar kleine vissen twee.

"Zwemmen," zei de moeder,

"We zwemmen," zeiden de twee,

Dus ze zwommen en ze zwommen in de zo blauwe stroom.

Daar in de wei, op de tak van een boom,

Leefde een oude moedervogel en haar kleine vogeltjes drie.

"Zing," zei de moeder,

"We zingen," zeiden de drie, dus zongen ze,

En ze zongen op de tak van de boom.
