On a late night weekend showcase event

Kinda liked you at first but I noticed your friend

So I got my folk to approach both of them

And they both came over and poured up some Hen

And we ain’t say much but we spoke

Their eyes said to me «Systems go»

Its about that time we should go

To the good life, on a good night we go, grab a bottle and go

Op een showcase-evenement in het late weekend

Eerst vond ik je leuk, maar ik merkte je vriend op

Dus ik heb mijn mensen ertoe gebracht ze allebei te benaderen

En ze kwamen allebei langs en schonken wat Hen . in

En we zeggen niet veel, maar we hebben gesproken

Omdat je niet hoeft te praten als je het weet

Het is ongeveer die tijd dat we zouden moeten gaan

Dus sta me toe om te stromen terwijl ik een toast voorstel

Voor het goede leven, op een goede nacht gaan we, pakken een fles en gaan

Zeg haar wacht even, ja een mooie nacht, kleurrijke Kodak-foto

Maar zodra je de kamer binnenkomt, denk ik dat je bevroor

Het is het einde van de week, maar de eerste van de maand

Wanneer de maan vol wordt, maar de nacht nog jong is

Met zo'n menigte weet je niet waar je terecht komt

Dus ik speel het gewoon cool zoals de kubussen in mijn kopje
